Major Construction Project - 2004

Thanks to a Line-Item Grant for $20,000 from Senator James Seward, the TOWHA was able to renovate the "woodshed" - former summer kitchen of the Goodsell Museum in the Summer of 2004.

The Dedication of the New Research Room was held December 5, 2004 at the Town of Webb Historical Association's Annual Holiday Open House. Cutting the Ribbon from left to right: Chris Cardner, TOWHA President, State Senator James Seward, Town of Webb Supervisor Robert Moore, TOWHA Trustees & Building & Grounds Committee Members Reed Proper and Roland Christy, and Director Gail Murray.

The research room houses our archival photo collection, the extensive vertical & genealogy files, the oversized photo & map cabinets, and other reference materials used by our staff and visitors. It also serves as a meeting room for the Trustees and other community groups.
